Introduction from the Author
When I was young I was fascinated by the world of the occult. The idea that there was something more moving behind the scenes. Controlling forces giving meaning and purpose to the chaos that the world showed me. Soon I was devising my own reasoning to help aid this fantasy.
Over the years I stopped playing pretend and found myself cemented in the world of the real. But these stories never left my imagination. And it's here I chose to put them out into the world. Telling stories is an amazing past time. The idea, that I can share the pieces of my world with you by simply typing is amazing to me.
So, let me set the stage. All my stories take place in a special universe. A universe that was once complete and whole. But tragedy and war ripped it apart. And in that destruction the universe became fractured, broken into three parts. This leads us to the name of this blog and the over arching idea of these stories. The creation of the Triverse. In one part we have the misguided and well meaning Ascended. A race of immortal beings trying their absolute best to restore the universe. In the other we have the Carnal. Older than the Ascended and seeking to rule the Triverse in any form.
In the middle is where our stories take place. A verse that mirrors our own. A place where earth exists and humans flourish. Well, mostly humans. See, the Ascended and the Carnal have both been hard at work trying to influence our little piece of space. Somewhere on our little blue planet is the last piece of the puzzle they need to fulfill their plans, the Nexus.
This little item is a remnant of the explosion that shattered the universe in thrie. But crossing the event horizon of the cracks is almost impossible. To aid in their retrieval of the artifact. Both sides have been meddling in our world. This has given birth to the Nephilim. Different races that appear almost completely human but have extraordinary and sometimes nightmarish powers.
So, if any of this seems interesting to you or you're just curious about what might fall out of my head. Join me in this world. Listen to the tales I tell and reach out. Let me know you're there. Who knows, you may end up in a story.
